Questo album e dedicato ai nostri paesani che hanno dovuto lasciare le loro famiglie per emigrare in Venezuela per lavoro durante la crisi degli anni 50, facendo tanti  sacrifici  per  cercare di procurare un  futuro migliore alle  loro famiglie. Molti hanno avuto la possibilita di partire, pur non avendo moneta, grazie all' aiuto dell'avvocato Celidonio. I loro sacrifici hanno permesso alle famiglie di pagare i debiti, riparare o fabbricare una casa e comperare dei terreni.   Confido nell'aiuto dei nostri visitatori per poter ingrandire questo album con foto e racconti, cosi da offrire un grande tributo ai nostri genitori, nonni e altri famigliari che hanno fatto  grandi sacrifici per assicurare un futuro migliore

This photo album is dedicated to our paesani who had to leave Pratola and their family behind to work in Venezuela  during the 50's, in the hope of providing a better future for their family. Many were able to  make the trip, even though they had no money, thanks to the help from Mr. Celidonio a lawyer from the nearby town of Sulmona, who was able to arrange loans for them. Their sacrifices brought money home to their families to help pay debts, repair or build a house and purchase new farm lands.  We trust that  our visitors will help augment this album with many more photos and memories, in order to offer our parents, grandparent and other family members a great tribute  for their  sacrifice to ensure a better future.
