Nonostante il grande impegno cadono sotto le mura amiche le due squadre di calcio. Una domenica storta per entrambe le formazioni che perdono con lo stesso punteggio. Il terza categoria la Virtus Pratola, sul campo di gioco del Campus, perde uno a zero contro Castelvecchio, dopo aver sprecato almeno 5 occasioni da rete; la squadra che milita in prima categoria, sfortunatamente subisce la rete dalla Jaguar Celano al 92’, al recupero, pur avendo disputato in 10 quasi tutto l’incontro per una espulsione. La prima sconfitta in campionato è arrivata in contropiede dopo che i nerostellati hanno più volte sfiorato il goal mettendoci l’anima nell’incontro.  Purtroppo nel calcio ci sono anche le sconfitte. Molto rammarico certo…ma il verdetto del campo  parla chiaro. A questo punto occorre recuperare le energie e tornare in campo con più grinta sapendo di poter fare bene. I bravi atleti sapranno rifarsi presto e riusciranno a far sorridere ancora i numerosi tifosi ed i membri delle due società che tanto si impegnano per dare ancor più prestigio a Pratola e soprattutto per promuovere lo sport.

Despite their greatest effort, both soccer teams fall short of a victory at home. On a twisted sort of Sunday and to their misfortune, both teams come to suffer a loss by the same game result of one to nil. The third category team Virtus Pratola, playing at Campus soccer field falls  to Castelvecchio, after  failing to capitalize on five good scoring chances; as well the team playing in the first category, after having one player suspended early in the game and having to play short for the rest of the game against the Jaguar Celano, unfortunately suffers a goal in extra time at the 92nd minute of play . The first loss  of this championship for the nerostellati, comes on a counter attack after their great effort and  near misses. The reality of a loss exists  in any sport and regretfully the verdict on the field was clear. Now, it's just a matter for both teams to pick up their spirit,  gather up their strength and come back to play next time more determined than ever to regain their winning way, so as to allow the many dedicated fans  to be able to smile once more and celebrate in victory, giving back satisfaction to the management and coaching staff, who are so devoted in  bringing more recognition to Pratola and to promote the sport.
