Importantissima
vittoria della Valle Peligna Calcio nell'ostico
campo del Casali D'Aschi. All'inizio è la compagine
pratolana a prendere le redini del gioco facendo un
ottima ostruzione a centrocampo e ripartenze veloci
che però non portavano a nulla di fatto. La prima
vera emozione la dà Giovannucci che involato da
centrocampo verso la porta viene fermato
dall'arbitro per un fuorigioco inesistente. Da
segnalare due tentativi di conclusione da parte di
Di Loreto M.. Il primo tempo finisce senza creare
tante emozioni. La Valle Peligna parte bene anche
nella ripresa e dopo 15 minuti passa! Ottimo
fraseggio a centrocampo finalizzato, palla a
Giovannucci che con un bel tocco mette davanti la
porta Silvestri che non si fa pregare e insacca in
rete con un pregevole esterno. Lo stesso Silvestri
rimane infortunato e poco dopo dovrà uscire. Da qui
viene fuori l'orgoglio del Casali D'Aschi che non ci
sta! Vani però i tentativi della compagine locale
fermati molto bene dall'attenta difesa pratolana. La
partita si accende ma le emozioni scarseggiano. Nel
finale la Valle Peligna ha la possibilità di mettere
al sicuro il risultato ma la stanchezza ha il
sopravvento. Dopo 5 minuti di recupero finisce il
macth con un acceso dopo-partita. La Valle Peligna
così, nonostante abbia una gara da recuperare, è già
in vetta alla classifica del Girone C-Aq della Terza
Categoria, con 6 punti insieme alla Vis Sulmona.
Domenica prossima all'Ezio Ricci di Pratola arriverà

A very
important win for Valle Peligna against a
tough host, Casali D'Aschi. The start
of the game sees pratola take quick control
putting up aresistance in the midfield
while trying some deep passing but to no
avail. The first true excitement is given by
Giovannucci, after receiving a long pass in
striking range is called back on a
questionable offside call. Other than a
couple of opportunities by Di Loreto the
first half comes to an end without creating
much excitement. Valle Peligna starts
well in the second half and after 15 minutes
of play takes the lead!. An excellent
execution from midfield as Giovannucci with
a nice touch puts the ball to Silvestri near
the goal and puts it in the back of the net
for the goal. Silvestri suffers an
injury and soon must leave the field.
casali D'aschi tries to take advantage of
the change and challenges hard, only to be
stopped by the skills of the pratolani
defense. The game gets scrappy but with few
exciting moments. Valle peligna gains an
opportunity to put the game away, but tired
legs take their toll. The game ends after 5
extra minutes of injury time with some
venting after the play. So even though
Valle Peligna still needs to replay their
first game, this victory puts them sharing
the top of the standings with Vis Sulmona
with 6 points each. Next week the team
will host Barrea at Ezio Ricci stadium in
Pratola. Go Valle
