E' stata
la partita delle occassioni mancate. Bene nella
costruzione del gioco, male nelle conclusioni a rete.
La sfortuna ha voluto che la palla non entrasse in
rete. Grinta ed agonismo non sono quindi bastati
agli atleti peligni per continuare ottimamente il campionato.
Un punto comunque è sempre buono per mantenere il
primo posto in classifica, in attesa che la fortuna
positiva torni all'Ezio Ricci. Gli ospiti hanno
pareggiato su calcio di rigore mentre l'arbitraggio
ha lasciato a desiderare soprattutto perchè in
questa categoria l'arbitro è solo e quindi
impossibilitato a vedere fuorigioco e falli in area.
Comunque quella col Celano è stata e resta la
partita delle occasioni mancate, almeno 5 palloni
sprecati davanti al portiere e...a portiere battuto.
Siamo però sicuri che gli atleti sapranno trarre
vantaggio anche da questa esperienza e provare a
vincere fuori casa...a proposito...un altro derbi
peligno e per la classifica si riprospetta domenica
prossima contro la quotata squadra del Pacentro. Una
gara veramente importante per le due squadre che
viaggiano ai piani più alti della classifca. Buon
lavoro a tutti gli atleti e complimenti alla società
per l'impegno sempre mostrato .

Ancora una bella vittoria esterna per la
Virtus Pratola. Con un gol di Alfredo Basile
ed uno di Attilio Palombizio i peligni si
sono accaparrati i tre punti in palio contro
i marsi. In questo torneo vincere fuori casa
non è cosa da poco. L'agonismo è la
caratteristica del campionato. Chi gioca in
casa ha poi sempre l'arma in più: la grinta di
fare bene tra le mura amiche sotto gli occhi
dei propri tifosi. Quindi questa vittoria
degli uomini di mister Saccoccia e del
presidente Giovanni Tofano assume un
importante valore. A questo punto del
campionato possiamo dire che la squadra
comincia a giocare con delle trame ben
pensate. Complimenti a tutti.

It was a game
marked by many missed opportunities. Though
the plays were very well articulated they
could not be finished with a goal. It's as
if faith was preventing a goal.
Determination and competitiveness just was
not enough to continue the winning streak.
However the single point is sufficient to
maintain the lead in the standings in the
hope that the good fortune will return at
Ezio Ricci. The hosts tied the game on a
penalty shot. The refereeing left much to be
desired, mostly by the fact that there are
no assistant referees in this category,
leaving the lone referee with the impossible
task to see the offside and offences
occurring in the penalty area. However this
game with Celano was and will remain the
game of missed opportunities, at least 5
wasted balls in front of a helpless goalie.
We rest assured however that these players
will be able to draw a positive from this
experience and try to win away from
home.....by the way another derby peligno
will unfold next Sunday against Pacentro. A
very important game for both teams both
close to the top of the standings.Good work

Yet another nice
out of town victory for Pratola Virtus. With
a goal each from Alfredo Basile and Attilio
Palombizio, the peligni captured the three
points at stake against the marsi. In this
league winning away from home is not an easy
task. Competitiveness is the main
characteristic in this group. When playing
at home one has the extra incentive to win
under the watchful eye of the hometown fans.
Thus this victory by Mr. Saccoccia's men and
president Giovanni Tofano, assume a very
important value. At this point in the
championship it can be said that the team is
clicking together very well. Congratulations
