Finalmente
anche Pratola offre la possibilità di un
soggiorno particolare nell’accogliente B&B “ La
Villa” impreziosito dai pacchetti vacanze monti-mare
che Alessandra e Lorenzo, titolari dell’elegante
struttura, propongono agli ospiti. L'idea è
venuta ai due giovani che vantano anche una
esperienza lavorativa all'estero e attività nel
mondo dello sport. Grazie a queste
consapevolezze di gestione e di accoglienza
degli ospiti, i due hanno deciso di creare un’
attività lavorativa oggi molto in voga. Così, in
una bella villa nel quartiere Valle Madonna,
offrono ogni tipo di confort. L’incentivo a
scegliere questa struttura consiste nella
possibilità di effettuare escursioni al mare o
in montagna, considerata la posizione logistica
che vede Pratola vicinissima a incantevoli
paesaggi e parchi. Abbiamo rivolte alcune
domande ai due. Ecco cosa ci hanno risposto:
1) Come è
nata l'idea di un B&B a Pratola?
R: L’idea
ha diverse origini; prima fra tutte, dichiara
Alessandra , realizzare il nostro sogno che
aggiunge: “io ne ho visti tanti in giro per la
Gran Bretagna e me ne sono innamorata mentre
Lorenzo ne ha usufruito spesso durante i
soggiorni in varie località finalizzati ai suoi
viaggi in canoa, preferendo i B&B, tra l’altro,
alle strutture alberghiere, dai ben noti costi”.
Da tutto ciò nasce l’idea di aprirne uno proprio
a Pratola Peligna..E poi anche per allargare la
recettività della nostra zona che prima era solo
appannaggio delle strutture alberghiere e , non
ultimo, per consentire l’incontro fra vecchi
amici, magari di paesi lontani, in un’atmosfera
sicuramente più calda e familiare”.
2) Cosa
offrite a livello gastronomico agli ospiti oltre
alle splendide stanze?
R: Ai
nostri clienti offriamo una colazione assortita
di prodotti tipici abruzzesi . Abbiamo anche
avviato sovvenzioni con ristoranti locali che
propongono piatti tipici di ottima qualità a
prezzi vantaggiosi. Tra questi citiamo il
ristorante Il Carro, quello di Orsa sul Colle
Delle Vacche, ecc…
3) Quali sono
i vostri punti di forza?
R: I
nostri punti di forza derivano dal fatto che ci
troviamo al centro di una valle con mille
possibilità escursionistiche di ogni genere,sia
naturalistiche che sportive. Ciò che la natura
ci offre è veramente grande cosa: sentieri e
mulattiere da percorrere sia a piedi sia in
mountain bike, fiumi da percorrere in canoa,
piste sciistiche tra le più belle del centro
Italia, e, a pochi chilometri, un mare stupendo…
Non ultimi, percorsi eco gastronomici per
assaporare le specialità locali come il vino (montepulciano,Trebbia
no,cerasuolo) l’olio,il tartufo, il
miele,svariati tipi di
formaggi,mozzarelle,confetti,salumi ,pasta
trafilata al bronzo ed i famosi arrosticini di
pecora.
4) Quali
escursioni proponete?
R: Essendo
Lorenzo istruttore di canoa kayak , solitamente
organizziamo discese guidate su fiumi di
incontaminata bellezza e corsi di canoa per chi
vuole specializzarsi in questo sport o anche
solo per passare una piacevole giornata di relax
immersi nella natura. Escursioni di trekking di
media o facile difficoltà suoi monti circostanti,
con bivacco ai rifugi e passeggiate in mountain
bike sui sentieri della valle peligna e sui
monti adiacenti. Offriamo anche visite guidate
nei borghi più belli della Valle Peligna come
Pacentro, Introdacqua ,Scanno ,Pettorano sul
Gizio,Sulmona, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rocca
Calascio e molti altri . Ci sono poi le visite
alle bellezze naturalistiche che la valle ci
offre come le Gole di San Venanzio, le Grotte di
Stiffe, ecc…
5) Quanto si
spende al giorno nel vostro B&B ?R: La
tariffa giornaliera e’ di 30 euro a persona, che
comprende pernottamento e colazione. Oltre il
terzo giorno il prezzo scende a 25
euro,escursioni escluse. I bambini fino a 6 anni
gratis.

Finally, even Pratola
offers the opportunity of a relaxing stay at
a welcoming Bed & Breakfast such as "LA VILLA" -
enriched by accompanying sea or mountain
vacation packages which proprietors Alessandra
& Lorenzo are able to offer their
guests. They had this idea by the influence of having worked abroad and being
involved in various sporting activities. Thanks
to their understanding of business management
and how to make guests feel welcome, the two
have decided to create a business activity which these
days is fashionable and in high demand. Hence they
are now able to welcome and comfort
guests in a beautiful villa located in the
district of Valle Madonna, they can also
offer their guests excursion packages at the
beach or at the mountains, this made possible by the
strategic location of Pratola which is
surrounded by an enchanting landscape and many
parks. We posed the pair a few questions, here
is what they had to say:
1-How
did the idea of opening a B&B in Pratola come
about?
R: The
idea has different origins; first of all,
declares Alessandra, it's to realize our dream
adding: “I have seen many (B&B) throughout England and
fell in love with the idea, while Lorenzo
enjoyed frequent stays in B&Bs, preferred over
hotels due to the difference in cost during his
canoeing trips. These experiences contributed to
the idea to open one in
Pratola Peligna, another reason is to expand the
accommodation business in our area which was
limited to hotels and last but not least, to
allow encounters between friends, perhaps from
other countries, in an
warm and familiar atmosphere"
2) Beside the
wonderful rooms what do you offer your guest at
a gastronomic level?
R: We
offer our clients a breakfast made from
assorted typical regional products, as well as
catering from local restaurants offering
excellent dishes at a reasonable price. From
which
list, we make mention of Il Carro
Restaurant and Orsa on Colle Delle vacche,
etc......
3) What are
your points of advantage?
R: Our
advantage lies in the fact that we are located
in the center of a valley with thousands of
excursion possibilities, be it nature or sport
oriented. What nature has to offer us here is
truly great, with trails pursued by
walking or mountain bike, rivers to canoe
on and skii slopes that are among the most
beautiful in central Italy and within few
kilometers stupendous beaches.... and last but
not least eco-gastronomic tours to taste the
local specialties, such as wine like
(Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Cerasuolo, olive
oil, truffle, honey, l’olio,il tartufo, il
miele,numerous types of cheeses, mozzarella
sweets, preserved meats, pastas and the famous
lamb shish kabob

What type of
excursions do you offer?
R: Since
Lorenzo is a canoe / kayak instructor, we
usually organize guided outings along the
beautiful local rivers or canoeing classes for
those who would like to specialize in this sport
or just to spend a relaxing day immersed in
nature. Hiking excursions of medium or low
difficulty on the surrounding mountains, camping
and mountain biking along the trails of the
peligna valley and adjacent mountains. We also
offer guided tours of the most beautiful
beautiful boroughs of the Valle Peligna such as
Pacentro, Introdacqua, Scanno, Pettorano sul
Gizio, Sulmona, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rocca
Calascio, and many others. Then there are sight
seeing trips of the natural beauty the valley
has to offer, such as the Gole of San Venanzio,
the Stiffe Caves, etc...
5) What is
the daily cost at your B&B ?
R: The
daily fee which includes overnight stay and
breakfast, is 30 euro per person. After the
third day the price will be discounted to 25
euro. Excursions not included. Free for children
up to six years of age.
